Which CFMOTO for an A2 licence? The models compared, with prices

For A2 licence holders, CFMOTO offers one of the widest ranges on the market: roadster, sports bike, cruiser, adventure bike, plus more powerful models supplied in a restricted version. All come with the 5-year manufacturer warranty. Here are the models, their prices and our advice on choosing.

The A2 licence in two sentences

An A2 licence allows a motorcycle of 35 kW at most (47.6 hp), with a power-to-weight ratio of no more than 0.2 kW/kg. A more powerful bike can be restricted to 35 kW if its original power does not exceed 70 kW. In Belgium you can get it from age 20: everything is explained in our guide to motorcycle and scooter licences in Belgium.

CFMOTOs that are A2 as standard, no restriction

They share the same 449 cc twin: nothing to restrict today, nothing to derestrict when you get your full A licence. Prices including VAT as of 15 October 2026.

  • CFMOTO 450NK, €5,499: 47 hp (35 kW) roadster, 173 kg, 795 mm seat. The most affordable and the liveliest in town.
  • CFMOTO 450CL-C, €6,199: neo-retro cruiser, 705 mm seat, belt drive. The Bobber version costs €6,699.
  • CFMOTO 450SR, €6,499: 35 kW sports bike, 179 kg, traction control as standard.

More powerful CFMOTOs, in A2-restricted versions

These models are supplied restricted to 35 kW for A2 licence holders. The return to full power is done later at the dealer, once you hold a full A licence.

  • CFMOTO 675NK, €6,699: three-cylinder roadster, 90 hp at full power.
  • CFMOTO 700MT Adventure, €6,999: 68 hp road-going adventure bike at full power, 20-litre tank. GT version with panniers at €7,499.
  • CFMOTO 800NK, from €7,699: 95 hp roadster at full power.
  • CFMOTO 800MT, from €8,899: large touring adventure bike, from the 800MT Sport to the highly equipped 800MT Explore.

Which one to choose?

  • For town riding and a first big bike: the 450NK, light and economical.
  • For shorter riders and relaxed rides: the 450CL-C and its 705 mm seat.
  • For a sporty feel: the 450SR.
  • For travelling and leaving the tarmac: the 450MT.
  • For two-up touring on the road: the restricted 700MT Adventure.
  • To keep your bike after the full A licence: a restricted version (675NK, 700MT, 800NK, 800MT), which will get its full power back.

Restricted or A2 as standard?

A standard A2 bike uses its 35 kW from low revs and costs less. A restricted bike is heavier and a little less lively at equal power, but you keep it after your full A licence. If you plan to take the A licence within two years, a restricted version saves you selling; otherwise a 450 is plenty in Brussels and on Belgian roads.
